Pirots 4 — the continuation of a legend
Our little birds have already been to the Wild West, walked with dinosaurs, and relaxed on tropical islands, but ELK Studios wasn’t satisfied. Where will the Pirots 4 birds take us this time? Today we are traveling through vast outer space, encountering aliens, meeting bandits, and shifting between dimensions.
What has the cosmos prepared for us? Will we survive the black hole, what happens to the popcorn box, and should we wait for the Bandit to appear? Welcome to the Pirots 4 space station!
Slot features and specifications
Let’s take a look at the main characteristics of the slot to understand what we are dealing with.

From the moment the game starts, it becomes clear that the adventure will be unforgettable. The slot is fast-paced, vibrant, and even comes with three separate locations:
-
Lost in Space
-
Frozen Fury
-
Inferno
To begin, we launched the Pirots 4 demo to test each location one by one. We started our journey with Lost in Space. After watching the intro, we immediately wanted to praise the developers for the brief backstory explaining how we ended up on a space station after the Wild West.
Play for real money
Visually everything looks impressive, but what about the mechanics? From the very first spin it's obvious that the developer put a lot of work into adding a huge variety of features — and we’ll break them down in detail.
Feature descriptions
The grid is literally covered with bonus symbols. We counted 12 features — and that’s just from the initial testing. Personally, I really enjoyed the Bandit feature, but more on that later. Players familiar with earlier Pirots games expected this many features, but newcomers will likely have lots of questions.
No worries — let’s go through each feature step by step.
Black Hole
The Black Hole symbol appears quite often — roughly every 10–15 spins. It sucks all symbols into darkness, then spits them back out randomly across the grid. We encountered it after just four spins and even managed to win €2 while betting the minimum €0.20. Not bad — moving on.
Bombs
There are several ways to move around the station. One option is the Teleport and Tunnel system. The station has bombs at its corners. When the color of the bomb matches the gem collected by a bird, the bomb explodes and adds new rows of precious stones.
If part of the station survives the explosion, the bird can move through the tunnel collecting special symbols. The Teleport feature can also speed movement up.
We immediately put a “plus” next to this feature since the coins fill the balance. In one of the early Teleports we grabbed an x100 coin — although the slot didn’t repeat such generosity. All later results were x2–x5, but still — those wins were there.
Bandit
At the beginning of the review we mentioned the Bandit — a special character. Approximately once every 50 spins, we encounter the Griffin on his spaceship. We already met him in Pirots 3, and his role hasn’t changed much.
He collects all symbols on the grid and multiplies the win by x2, x3 or x4. Unlike in Pirots 3, we no longer need to collect keys to fight him — the bird simply needs to gather the “Press” symbol.
In Pirots 4 the birds fight for control of the spaceship. If the Bandit wins, he continues collecting gems vertically and if he defeats all birds, he takes all gems from the grid. Birds can stop the invasion by defeating him. Then the round ends, the win is paid, and the base game resumes.
This is the theory — but what about practice? Surprisingly, it worked out very well. We encountered the Bandit during Free Drops (we reviewed that feature earlier). We caught an x4 multiplier and collected almost €30. Onward we go.
Play for real moneySpacecorn
There is an impostor on the station — Spacecorn. Unlike the Bandit, he does not appear independently and cannot be triggered manually; he drops alongside coins and waits for a bird to pick him up.
Do not underestimate this popcorn box — it can mutate into a full alien, and that can be extremely beneficial. The alien captures one of the birds and carries it around the grid. Empty tiles turn into corn kernels, creating additional paths for movement. This allows collecting symbols that would normally be unreachable.
It was Spacecorn that gave us a very unexpected result in the bonus game, but more on that later.
Sculls
In the previous Wild West adventure we collected bull skulls, but on the space station we pick up golden human scull. This bonus symbol awards 5 Free Drops and extends the round when more skulls appear.
There are also Bonus Skulls. When they fill the meter, an 8×8 bonus game with enhanced symbols begins. The standard skull feature appears roughly every 50 spins, but the Super Bonus remained a mystery. It appeared only once, paid €8, and left us with many questions. For fairness, we tested buying the Super Bonus — €1000 at a €2 bet. Despite our skepticism, the result was far better than expected.
We received 5 free drops, but skulls kept raining down, adding more spins. On the 7th Free Drop we not only recovered the cost but also finished with +€117 profit.
Play for real money
Repeating this result in real-money play didn’t work. The feature appeared extremely rarely — only twice in more than 500 spins, with top results under €300. Maybe it’s worth buying again?
But let’s continue — space has more surprises.
Lost in space
Our journey ends with «Lost in Space». This mode moves us to a separate location where we collect coins from 1 to 100. If luck is on our side, we can collect up to 6000 coins per game.
Birds start in the corners, then move horizontally and vertically collecting coins. Of course it's not all easy — blank tiles appear too, but bridges that spawn with coins help navigate across the grid. The feature is activated by Spacecorn. after clearing all gems, he triggers the bonus game.
In over 1000 test spins we saw this feature only once — so we were lucky. The win was €82 from three attempts.
For those who don’t want to wait, the feature can be purchased for x16 of the bet.
Impressions and conclusions
A four-part saga already speaks for itself, but Pirots 4 — upgraded with cosmic mechanics — absolutely deserves attention.
During the ELK Studios conference in Barcelona in February 2025, operators practically lined up to sign deals with the company, and the Pirots saga played a big role in that interest.
But let’s return to my gameplay experience. For the first 100 spins there was nothing particularly impressive. Wins of €10–€30 aren’t exciting, especially when betting €100. But that was just the beginning. The game soon warmed up, and wins of €80–€100 started appearing more often.
When you end the session and know all the slot’s features, you hope only for two things — 3 golden skulls and the Bandit. Black Holes, Teleports, and Wilds appear nearly every spin, so they help avoid dead rounds.
I especially highlight the Bandit, who’s been with us since Pirots 3. He's my favorite — you can earn up to €300 per session with him. He appears often and can be bought, so the feature is absolutely viable.
What raises mixed feelings is the Super Bonus. I purchased it for €1000 but… my win was only €224. A bit disappointing.
Pirots 4 is definitely worth playing — and more than once. The design is bright and stylish, and simply watching the gameplay feels like a true space adventure. Frozen Fury and Inferno are still ahead — we’ll cover them next time.
